Welcome to Week 33 of the Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project - Week 2 for me.

This week the theme is wood. Simple right? I thought so. I had big plans of getting out and finding a cool dilapidated wood building or zigzagging wooden walkway that went on for miles or maybe a cute little woodchuck. Unfortunately, as it turns out, I live in the city where I just don't see those things - ever. That coupled with the fact that one week goes by in a hot minute means zero super cool wood themed photo sessions for me.

Lucky for me, I had a session with a gorgeous German Shepherd over the weekend and a couple of the photos had wood in them. With the tremendous momentum gaining from the completion of themed blog number one, I wasn't about to skip this week when I did capture a couple qualifying photos.

My favorite of the two photos is Ziva in front of a wooden barn type door. As much as I like to color of the wood door, it's barely noticeable when you look at the beautiful model who really has the perfect head tilt down pat.

The second portrait isn't quite what I had in mind for the wood theme, but it is a tree, so I'm going with it.

That's all I have for the wood theme.
