Service - Week 32 of the 52 Week Pet Photography Blog
Originally, I was going to skip this week because I couldn't think of a way to use the theme service. But then at the last minute, it sort of came together.
Service to the animals that have made my life whole.
Dogs have been a huge part of my life and have brought so much happiness to me via friends (2 legged), hobbies, companionship, etc. I just can't imagine life without them. In the past, I have fostered a few dogs here and there and I have been thinking that I would like to do that again someday. But right now I have too much to juggle to add fostering to the mix of things. I started to think about what I can do and I reached out to a Home 4 Spot and we arranged a time for me to take some photos of a few of their current fosters, which I was so excited about. I hope to continue to take portraits of their dogs.
Knowing how full my life has been because of dogs and knowing how many dogs are in need of homes, I decided I need to step it up and find ways to help. Today I may not have all the answers to what I can do or how I can help, but for now, I will start by taking photographs to get those cute faces out there for people to see, and I will continue to think about what I can do in the future.
Here are the dogs I met. If you are looking for a companion or know anyone who might be interested in one of these dogs, please reach out to A Home 4 Spot for more information.
